Trusts lawyers are solicitors who counsel and advice clients who have estate documents and trusts in their name. A grantor establishes a trust and the grantor is the one, who over the entire span of their life, accumulates assets such as investments, real estates and adds them to the trust.
The main purpose behind this is to pass these assets on to one or more chosen beneficiaries. Estate is a broad term that includes all assets of the client at his/her time of death. These assets are to be distributed among the beneficiaries according to the terms stated in a will by the client.
So, simply put, trust law is that section of legal framework which handles all the cases where the assets are assigned to a trust. The assets will be controlled by an individual, the trustee, for the profit of the beneficiary.
